About Fleuriste

Hello!  And a warm welcome to anyone that enjoys dresses and beautiful things!

I am a designer and owner of a women’s dress company, passionate about history, the natural world, color, form, and quality, who has created a business intimate in feel, free of constraints.

My dresses have been displayed in the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, and the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, and have been sold in department stores in North America (Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, and Holt Renfrew) as well as more than one hundred high-end women’s speciality boutiques across the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan, and to private clients around the world.

I specialize in a niche market of women who look for (but often have trouble finding) dresses of classic, understated elegance, using traditional fabric having historical resonance with strong and lasting value.  My designs feature details that, however common in the past, are rarely seen today, such as the use of silk or Bemberg lining, generous hems, and fitted silhouettes with couture finishing.  Typically my customers are cosmopolitan in outlook, and recognize that a well-made dress should be made beautifully both inside and outside.  They appreciate dresses that are versatile and impossible to date, with a beauty that makes them valuable for years, not just a season.
